TANDEM ROLLER DETAIL

 The proven welded corner design is the leading-edge technology in the way vinyl  window products are now made.  Precise, computerguided welds combine the vastly superior insulating value of vinyl with the strength and uniform rigidity of welding.

 Each operating panel has two sets of tandem pivoting rollers that grip a raised  aluminum track-which completely eliminates three major patio door annoyances.  First, the sliding panel can't "rack" or twist out of kilter or jump out of it's track.  Second, the  wheels are made of steel to assure years of quiet, smooth, trouble-free operation. Third, the track is raised to keep it free of obstructions.

 The door panel section housing the roller mechanism is reinforced with specially-designed aluminum extrusions for maximum strength and durability. Again, as  in all the other metalreinforced components in the Royal "Series 2000" Patio Door, there is no-metal-to-metal contact.

 Four sets of Finseal TM weatherseal hug the vinyl track overlapped by the door
panel frame.

 Four "Hollows" in a specially reinforced sill section create large pockets of dead air  for insulation. They're just one of the dozens of carefully-thought-out insulating barriers built into Royal Patio Doors.
