Stained Glass Overlay
Material Specifications  Mylar Film: property retention -100 degrees F. to +300
degrees F.; adhesive complies to durability requirements of ANSI Z97.1-1984, Sec. 4.4.2.1 & 4.4.2.2.
Lead Strips: 99 + % pure lead; adhesive subjected to -22 degrees F. to +212 degrees F. with no breakdown.
Safety Impact Requirements: meets ANSI Z97.1-1984 when glass is entirely covered with overlay material.
UV Resistance: ASTM E903-85% to 99% of UV light absorbed.
Temperature Tolerance: ASTM E773-E774 Temps from -22 degrees F. to +212 degrees F. caused no breakdown of materials.
Fade Resistance
: ASTM G-23 - 6,000 hrs. (or equivalent to 20 yrs.) direct solar UV exposure caused modest or no color fading in samples submitted.
Maintenance: Resists deleterious effects for 5,000 cleaning cycles under normal conditions.
