Bay Window Projections

The projection of a custom bay window is the measurement taken from the outside Face of the exterior building sheathing to the furthest outside point of- the window. It is determined by the mullion angle and flanker width specified as shown in the Angle Bay Projection Guide to the right.

The size of the center unit is also determined by mullion angle and Hanker width. lt is determined by subtracting the Total Flanker Allowance (Flanker Allowance x 2) From the overall unit opening width.

Any style angle bay can be constructed with either a picture window center or as a multi-section center with either double hungs, casements, or fixed lites. You're only limited by your imagination!

TrimeLine Legends series clad angle bays are available with either double-hung or casement windows which can be arranged in a variety of combinations by choosing from four different flanker widths and either 50 degree or 45 degree mullion angles. Whether just trying to achieve that certain distinctive look or trying to fit an opening with a limited projection, there is a TrimLine Angle Bay that'll work for you.
