New Vinyl Siding and Rain Gutters Installed in 116-Year-Old Home
The owner of this three-family property wanted to improve the home's exterior appearance while better insulating it for himself and his tenants. We stripped the old siding down to the original wood stud and applied our ENERGY STAR® R5-rated insulated panels to the house before wrapping it in Tyvek Waterproofing paper. We then installed brand new vinyl siding, rain gutters and leaders, capping, and new soffits. The customer is elated with both the stylish appearance of his home’s exterior and the substantial savings the new insulated panels under the siding are providing him on heating and cooling costs. He also mentioned that the house was much warmer over the winter than it was before the new siding installation.
